UCGIS Honors Two Hunter Faculty

The University Consortium for Geographic Information Science (UCGIS) honored last week three senior scholars, two of whom hail from Hunter College's Department of Geography. Dr. Jochen Albrecht received the Education Award and Dr. Keith Clarke, who moved from Hunter College to UC Santa Barbara, received the Carolyn Merry Mentoring Award. The third recipient, Dr. Couclelis (also from UCSB) received the Research Award.

This puts Hunter College and UCSB in the top echelon of Geographic Information Science, past and present.
