Dr. Marianna Pavlovskaya thanks Next System Studies at George Mason University for hosting a discussion of her new co-authored book "Solidarity Cities: Confronting Racial Capitalism, Mapping Transformation" on April 3, 2025.

The book panel was part of Online Convergence conference organized by Next System Studies at George Mason University. Next System Studies seeks to find pathways to enable progressive social change. Dr. Pavlovskaya’ participated in the panel with two co-authors – Dr. Craig Borowiak and Dr. Stephen Healy. The book “Solidarity Cities: Confronting Racial Capitalism, Mapping Transformation” was collectively authored with Maliha Safri, Craig Borowiak, and Stephen Healy and published by University of Minnesota Press in December 2024.
