Speaker: Sahara James
Senior Sustainability Consultant, Kinetic Communities Consulting

Sahara James works as a consultant at the intersection of equitable housing, workforce, and GHG emission reduction. Sahara received her bachelor's degree from Hunter College in environmental studies and an MBA from Bard Graduate Programs in Sustainability. Sahara is currently a Senior Sustainability Consultant at Kinetic Communities Consulting, where she is a Campaign Director for ElectrifyNYC. She is passionate about energy equity in NYC, and emotionally intelligent leadership. In 2023, Sahara received the Next Generation Women Builders award from the Women Builders Council, and the Young, Gifted, & Green Award presented by @blackmillennials4flint during the Congressional Black Caucus in Washington, DC.
