Change is the hallmark of planet earth, but humans, particularly over the last century, have accelerated the process enormously and in innumerable ways. How biotic systems accommodate changes will regulate the manner in which life and the planet itself will evolve.

Join CUNY's ASRC Environmental Sciences, Neuroscience, and Structural Biology initiatives for a cross-disciplinary science conference entitled: Climate Stress Across the Biosphere: From Molecules to Organisms to Earth and Social Systems on Thursday, September 21 and Friday, September 22 at the CUNY Advanced Science Research Center and via Zoom.

This hybrid event focuses on how climate change produces stress on living systems and how those systems respond to stress across the biotic kingdoms and social systems.

More information and registration can be found here (registration is free!). Be part of the conversation and sessions to synthesize current thinking on the subject from both a fundamental research and societal impact perspective.
