Space and Computation
Study Space
Thanks to Prof. Sean Ahearn and CARSI Lab, students in the MGEOi program are eligible to access the study space in room HN1024 (inside HN 1023, CARSI). This room has been a space for CARSI’s research activities in GIS, Remote Sensing, and LiDAR applications. Many MGEOi students have also worked on their course projects and theses with their peers in the space. The room has a few cubicles and study tables that MGEOi students can use. Microwave and refrigerator are also available in the room.
Computing Resources
CUNY, Hunter College, and the Department of Geography and Environmental Science provide virtual computing and applications through Apporto, college-wide on-campus computer labs, and departmental computer classrooms (HN1090B-1 and HN1090B-2). In addition to these resources, the GIS programs also offer the following resources.
