Hunter Solar Project was made possible by to the generous support of the Hunter College Administration, Undergraduate Student Government, and the City University of New York. The Solar Tour Program pilot is funded by a grant from the Wal-Mart Foundation that was awarded to the Hunter Solar Project through the Clinton Global Initiative University’s Outstanding Student Commitment Awards in 2009. The CUNY Institute for Sustainable Cities provided significant guidance and technical assistance to Hunter Solar Project, and the Hunter College Department of Geography is providing logistical support for the Solar Tour Program.
