Summer 2009 Field Course

Acadia National Park
Mt. Desert Island, Maine

Saturday May 30th to Saturday June 6th, 2009

Registration is from March 17th to May 8th.
A deposit of $450 and individual data form is required
before permission to registered can be granted.

There will be one organization meeting scheduled for Wednesday May 13th @ 6:45PM in room 1004N if we have the required minimum number of 12 students registered.

COURSE SUBJECT:
Course members as a consulting group (click here for details).

COURSE GRADING:
Your course grade will be based on:
Oral presentation during course on a subject to be agreed upon with instructor.
A 10-15 page term paper on your oral presentation.
Your field notebook.

MINIMUM COURSE PREREQUISITES:

- Two courses in geography or geology.
and
- Permission of the instructor.

 Preference will be given to undergraduate geography and environmental studies majors and minors. Master’s students in geography will be considered. PhD students can not use this course towards their degree requirements.
