Currently a GIS Programmer Analyst and Project Manager for the Department of Public Works on the Nassau County Geographic Information System (NCGIS) , an enterprise-wide, multi-participant GIS implementation using ARCGIS and Web Portal ARCIMS to access and update a sub-meter accurate, 100+ layer, photogrammetric basemap and information database.

Assembled Command Center Poster Maps and detailed Notebook Atlases for Goodwill Games.
Managed the conversion and integration of the Traffic Signal database into GIS structure.
Researched, analyzed, and provided expert advice on issues pertaining to the NCGIS.

PROFESSIONAL SOCIETY PARTICIPATION
Currently serve as a Director of the North Atlantic Region of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. The Board designs programs to promote the ASPRS vision, mission, and goals in the Northeast.
ASPRS Student Activities Committee Chair: For three years, led a committee and produced events designed to invigorate student activities in Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry at the national level, including the following conference actions:
Coordinated The Career Options Student Reception at the GIS/LIS 96 Conference which brought together representatives from industry, academia, professional societies, and government agencies to discuss career development with students in an informal atmosphere.
Chaired a Career Development Panel Discussion at the ASPRS/ACSM 96 Conference in which industry and academic leaders discussed career opportunities with students in an extended technical session.
Developed a world-wide-web home page that provided career direction for students.
OTHER PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY
For each of the conferences I attended, I volunteered to help produce the event in some fashion, which provided me with behind-the-scenes exposure to industry professionals. In addition, I have served on other Committees for ASPRS on the national level, including Strategic Planning, Membership, and Electronic Communications, for which I shared opinions with leading industry professionals and produced documents on such issues as Web Access Design, Certification of Photogrammetrists, and Legal Issues of GIS Standards.
There are also a variety of short conferences and meetings which I have attended, including the Spatial Data Law Conference, Managing Spatial Data in the 21st Century, Connecticut ARC Users, Defense Applications of GIS, Data Connection Meeting, Long Island GIS User's Group, and the Land Satellite Information in the Next Decade II, among others.
