How do I access files on scratch remotely?

Windows user:

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Click on the File menu and select Open.

3. Open dialog box appears with the following fields:

1. Check the box for "Open as Web Folder.”Without checking this box, you will only be allowed to download files.  Checking this box enables you to download and upload files.
2. Type https://146.95.2.6/scratch
3. Click OK button.

4. Security Alert window appears if you have not previously installed a certificate onto your computer.  If you have installed a certificate before, continue at step 5.

 

    Do one of the following:

1. Click Yes button.  This will not install a certificate onto your computer.  This Security Alert window will appear every time you try to access this site.
2. Click View Certificate button.

1. If you wish to install the certificate, click the Install Certificate… button and the Certificate Import Wizard window will appear on your screen.  Accept all the defaults and if successful, you will get a message stating “The import was successful.”  If a certificate is installed on your computer, the Security Alert window will not appear on your computer the next time you try to access this site.
2. Click the OK button.
1. Click the Yes button.

 

5. Connect to 146.95.2.6 dialog box appears with the following fields:

1. Username: type huntergeo\username
2. Password: type your password
3. Click OK button.

6. Use Copy and Paste to upload and download files.
