Biography:

Professor Linky has worked for state and federal governmental environmental agencies for the past three decades. He currently works for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 2 office in New York and is a designated U.S. EPA National Expert on Energy and Climate Change assigned to Region 2; Senior Policy Advisor on Electric Utility Regulations and Air Quality Management Issues; and Regional Program Officer on Global Warming/Climate Change, Integrated System Analysis and Program Design on Energy Efficient, Material Flows and Sustainable Development. Prof. Linky brings extensive knowledge and experience to the classroom which will be invaluable for Hunter College students, especially to Environmental Studies majors. He has previously taught at Rutgers University, the United States Military Academy (West Point), Columbus University, Maine Maritime Academy, the University of Rhode Island, Stevens Institute of Technology, and Pace University.
